Having lived in B'ham for many years and enjoying Golden Rule there, we have moved to Jasper, Georgia and today had our first meal there. We were very disappointed. My wife had a vegetable plate and I had the pork BBQ plate with 2 sides, which totaled over $15.00 for the two; we waited more than 30 minutes for our bills, asking twice and going to the cash register finally. We asked for sliced pork, but received chopped. Everything was a total disaster. We will not return to this restaurant. And to think we were so happy to have this restaurant in our little town!
